We were barricaded for hours. My father, 62 years old, fought terrorists to rescue us

Initially, there was just a warning siren. It was just past six in the morning, and my wife Miri woke up to a familiar noise: the whistle of an incoming missile.

Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Noam Tibon

Retired, Israel Defense Forces

On the morning of October 7, Tibon and his wife drove from Tel Aviv toward Kibbutz Nahal Oz after their son, journalist Amir Tibon, texted that gunmen were inside the community. Along the way and once inside the kibbutz, Tibon organized and led an ad hoc rescue effort — fighting alongside soldiers he gathered en route — before reaching and extracting his son’s family.

More copies.

A claim travels through posts, headlines and reposts. If every version points back to one origin, repetition has added no independent confirmation. Trace one chain below—it is the test behind every record here.
